A Million Dollar Inheritance

A businessman in Israel was facing a catastrophic financial collapse. His debts had mounted to the point where he was at risk of losing his home and his livelihood. In a state of despair, he turned to the Igros Kodesh to seek the Rebbe's guidance and a way out of his predicament.

The page he opened contained a letter from the Rebbe to a person who was also facing financial hardship. In it, the Rebbe assured the writer that they would soon see a great salvation and that a significant sum of money was coming their way. The Rebbe told the person to remain in good spirits and to trust in G-d.

Shortly after receiving this answer, the man was contacted by a lawyer from abroad. He was informed that a distant relative, whom he had not spoken to in decades, had passed away and left him a substantial inheritance. The amount was close to what he needed to clear his debts.

The inheritance allowed him not only to save his business but also to increase his charitable giving considerably. He saw it as the fulfilment of the words he had read in the Igros Kodesh at the moment when everything seemed lost.
