A Lost Passport Found

A man was preparing for an important trip to New York. Just hours before his flight, he realized he could not find his passport. He had searched his house, his bags and his car, but it was nowhere to be found. Missing the flight would mean missing an event he had planned for months.

He quickly wrote a note and opened a volume of Igros Kodesh. The letter he found spoke about the value of travelling for a holy purpose, and closed with a short line: look under the seat.

He went back to his car and looked under the seats again, but found nothing. Then he remembered that he had been sitting in a particular armchair in his office while checking his documents. He reached deep under the cushion and found the passport wedged between the frame and the fabric.

He reached the airport just in time. He felt that a small detail of his life had been noticed, and that the trip he cared about so much had been protected.
